The Senior Quality Control Lead will be responsible for establishing, documenting, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the ISO9001 Quality Management System (QMS) for a microelectronics manufacturing organization (i.e. die/wafer processing, component level packaging, multi-chip module (MCM) packaging, printed circuit board (PCB) surface mount technology (SMT) assembly, system level packaging, etc.). The Senior Quality Control Lead is responsible for the overarching Quality Control (QC) function within the organization and supports the following activities:
  • Maintaining quality documents outlining the QMS, within the five-level QMS document hierarchy (Quality Manual, Quality Management Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, Records, Forms)
  • Setting & driving quality objectives.
  • QC System planning, focusing on the identification and definition of the processes that make up the QMS.
  • Establishing communication processes within the organization to ensure success of the QMS.
  • Planning, conducting and leading routine audits of the QMS.
  • Measurement and Analysis of Quality Objectives, to include statistical analysis, ensuring conformity and effectiveness of the QMS.
  • Controlling Nonconforming Product/Services (identifying, documenting, segregating, controlling, and determining the disposition of nonconforming products).
  • Leading management reviews of the QMS.
  • Continual Improvement of the QMS through the use of the quality policy, quality objectives, audit results, analysis of data, corrective and preventive actions, and the Management Review.
  • Implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions to eliminate the causes and recurrence of nonconforming materials.
  • Serving as the chairperson for the Quality Review Board (QRB).
Required Qualifications:
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of qualified experience with ISO9001/AS9100 and highly standardized processes.
  • Willingness to obtain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of a polygraph. Clearance and polygraph processing will be sponsored by the U.S. Government.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications in written and digital format required.
  • Ability to execute the appropriate working methods and select the right tools to meet the right level of quality and efficiency.
  • Ability to work with standardized procedures for high repeatability in a highly advanced and connected environment.
  • Excellent communication and team working skills.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Technical degree or certification in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, material science or equivalent is preferred.
  • Familiarity and experience with defense manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with Printed Circuit Board design, fabrication, and assembly.
  • Familiarity with chip/die/wafer level microelectronics processing and packaging.
**This position is contingent upon the successful completion of security processing and favorable acceptance onto the program by the Customer.**

Clearance Requirement: This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of a polygraph.
