The Engineering Technician provides tier 2 and 3 system support. They assist the Government by providing large scale computer systems for hardware failures and applicable optimizations. Additionally, they provide management of board processes which include on-site and off-site depot coordination, troubleshooting and fault isolation.
The position location is Ft. Meade, MD. The position requires 24x7x365 on-site monitoring and support. Nights, weekends, and holidays are eligible for shift premium wages.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI w/ full scope polygraph
- Ability to support large scale computer system assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and shipping
- Ability to monitor, track, and provide status/alerts to support teams when issues arise
- Support a shifts within a 24x7x365 schedule; day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
Clearance Requirement: This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of full scope polygraph. Clearance and polygraph processing will be completed by the U.S. Government. Factors considered for a U.S. Government Security Clearance include, but are not limited to:
